- SHB Honored with Mayoral Proclamation
Southern Home Builders was presented an Official Mayoral
Proclamation from Nashville Mayor Karl Dean. The Proclamation
Ceremony was held at the Nashville Convention Center on June 11th and
recognized the Top 25 In Building & Construction. Clint Gill, Vice
President of Operations for SHB accepted the Proclamation from Vice
Mayor Diane Neighbors. "We are proud and honored to receive this
Mayoral Proclamation and plan to make a continuing contribution to the
growth and development in the Nashville area," said Gill upon receiving
the award. |

June 2008 - SHB in Top 20 In Nashville Business
Journal
Southern Home Builders was ranked as the 19th largest home builder
in Middle Tennessee by the Nashville Business Journal. "We owe
this success to the dedication and hard work we impart in every home for
our clients," said John Gill, CEO of SHB.

May 2008 - SHB Takes Home Top Honors at
Showcase of New Homes
Southern Home Builders was awarded with four major awards by the
Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee for its Model Home in
Fountain Brooke.
The "Breyerton"
plan is 3,340 sq. ft. and has four bedrooms, three full baths and two
half baths. Southern Home Builders won Best of Show, Best
Kitchen, Best Master Bedroom and Best Landscaping for its
2008 entry. Southern Home Builders has been a consistent winner of
awards from the Home Builders Association in years past. In 2007,
Southern Home Builders received five awards for its "Stonechase"
model in
Woodmont including; Best of Show,
Best Master Bedroom, Best Craftsmanship, Best Landscaping and
Best Interior Merchandising.
